OK, i need to rant. about the band Brokencyde.
if you dont wanna listen, then leave.
Brokencyde is a band that seems to not really think about the public in my eyes. their audience is from age 14-17 or older. possibly younger kids too.
so why do they sing about the things they sing about? they try to promote the usage of alchocol, drugs, sex/rape, and its not cool. kids who listen will see them as a role model and say: hey, if they do it, why cant i?
cant they see that they, as musicians, influence their listeners? and not only do they sing about things that, to them, are "cool" but they look like morons doing it! also, they swear excessively and it looks stupid. swearing doesnt make you cool, it makes you sound like you dont care about the people around you. its inconsiderate.
i have 3 younger sisters and in the city we live in, drinking/smoking and even sex is becoming more wide-spread in my SIXTH GRADE sister's grade. so bands like Brokencyde dont help. they're a negative influence.
now if your a faan, please dont take this offensively. you are entitled to your own opinion, as am i. so please no flaming or rude comments. if you'd like to justify your opinion on them, then do so.
